Happy New Year 2020!

“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watches over all who love him…”

Psalms‬ ‭145:17-20‬ ‭NIV‬

I’m thankful to the Lord for His great blessings and guidance for my life and ministries that I serve voluntarily.

Scripture tells us to be “thankful in everything, in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Praise God that myself is overwhelmed with burdens and worried about tomorrow, but I can praise God for who He is and His promise to never leave me or forsake me. What’s a free gift of salvation and eternal life!

Beside my success in ministry, there are many friends in Christian family who have been praying for me and especially, one of my close friend who is by my side in prayer, encouraged and supports me always. May the Lord bless you abundantly.

Thank you for joining with my journey in serving the Lord in 2020 in advance!

Please enjoy and praise God with me with thanksgiving heart. May the Lord bless you with your family and friends as well.

On the January 5th I had a great chance to meet with a missionary couple I have known since 1993. We shared a meal table and talked with encouragement and hearing each other what God has been doing in Cambodia and blesses our life and ministry. They are looking forward to being back to serve God in Cambodia this year.

Church Planting and other Church Ministries

Church Planting in Takeo has been successful and average attendance is between 50-60 people including children.

Christmas Pagent at the Takeo Church

On the 15th December my mission team and I did the Christmas celebration for church that we have been planting for almost two years.  We had more than 100 people came to join the service and heard the gospel of salvation by our senior pastor.  The children and teenagers enjoyed their Christmas performance.  We also blessed them with gifts and fun games.

God has blessed me to join “Love PP Festival” on the 7th December and I become the counselor for the gospel. 15 of people from the Takeo province joined this event and they accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. Praise Him!!!

On the 29th of December I had chance to visit one of my friend’s churches in Kampong Chhnang province.  I was asked to lead prayer of benediction and blessings for church.  I could see how God blessed that small church. There were around 130 children.  I brought them candy and some offerings. We prayed for church pastor after church service.

When I returned home, I felt in my heart that I must do something to encourage the teenagers there who love and serve the Lord. They don’t have enough clothes. I called to a sister in Christ if I could donate some of my dresses. She smiled and appreciated. I decided to sort of my clothes for them. A friend in WVI heard this and was so delighted in giving her dresses. Later, one of our sisters in Christ also donated some clothes to that church.
