The Range of Naleng’s Ministry

Naleng has served in Cambodian and international ministry since 1994. These are the threads that run through it.

Translation and Interpretation

Naleng has translated books, Bibles and training materials into Khmer since 1994. She also interprets live, standing beside the speaker so a room of Cambodian believers hears every word as it is said.

Broadcast, YouTube and Live Streaming

Naleng's voice reaches well past the room she is standing in. She records for Words of Life, and she has appeared live on Krusa FM 99.5, where the program streams as it airs.

Church Planting and Children's Ministry

The church Naleng attends in Phnom Penh plants churches in Takeo province, and she travels with the team. A good deal of that work happens sitting on a mat with children who are hearing about Jesus for the first time.

Worship and Speaking

Naleng led worship long before she went to Bible school in 2002, and she leads it still. She speaks at church gatherings and youth fellowship with her Bible open, in her own language, to her own people.

Teaching, Mentoring and Leadership

Naleng coordinates the EEC program that hosts a Master of Leadership from East Asia School of Theology, and she serves on the Haggai faculty and board. She was elected vice-president of Haggai International Association in Cambodia in 2017.

Precious Women

Naleng chairs the board of Precious Women Organization, which works with young Cambodian women. In 2020 the organization marked 10 years, and gave her an award for that service.

Study and International Travel

Naleng earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies at East Asia School of Theology in Singapore, and she returns there for the graduations of students she now helps teach. Her ministry has also taken her to Australia, America, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, Lao and Vietnam.
